Croft Design Photo Shoot

Been busy today taking pictures of kitchens!

Was called in to take pictures for a new kitchen showroom on Cherry Hinton Road in Cambridge.

Tom from Croft Design & Build had been working flat out for 3 weeks getting the place built and looking amazing. All he needs how is to photograph the shop and send the images off for print 24 hours later, and that’s my job!

The kitchens are amazing, I recommend anyone looking for a bespoke contemporary affordable hi-end kitchen to check these guys out. Amazing work, great work Tom. See you at the opening on Wednesday

Grange Road – Interiors

Interior shoot for Giuseppe Piran. He is a specialist decorator in the Cambridge area and asked me to photograph his work in this amazing house in Cambridge.

This was a perfect opportunity to use HDR to get a good tonal depth to the pictures and add a glowing warmth in post processing.

I used Photomatix Pro to do the HDR mapping and then Aperture for the post processing.

Balsham Church

Guiseppe Piran, a local specialist decorator approach me to do some pictures of the newly refurbished church at Balsham.

I decided to use a ultra wide angle lens, tripod and take multiple exposures and generate subtle HDR compositions. The light was difficult to tame as there was both natural light falling in through the windows as well as cold tungsten light from the lights inside the church.
